ROLE PURPOSE









To provide high quality professional, operational and administrative support services to the Scheme and to assist in the smooth and professional management of the Schemes whilst ensuring good governance.



WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO DO



To provide administrative support services to the Scheme Manager for the purposes of assisting the Scheme Manager with the smooth management of the medical scheme

Co-ordination of reports and data requests with the Internal Stakeholders and IT Department

Regular follow-up to ensure that requests are delivered timeously and that all stakeholders are kept updated on the progress.

Compiling and summarising information regarding the medical aid funds under administration, e.g. administration fees, service level measurements, business partner contracts, etc.

Understanding of the Scheme Rules, Service Level Agreements as well as the entire contract between the organisation and the Scheme.

Managing Daily, Monthly and Quarterly reports deadlines.

To provide operational support to the Scheme Managers in respect of the Schemes managed by that particular Scheme Manager.

To have a general knowledge of the rules, benefits and contribution tables of the Schemes.

To assist the Scheme Manager at an operational level in the effective managing of the Scheme by understanding service level requirements and measurements within each department.

To schedule all internal and external operational meetings for the Schemes where applicable.

To prepare Agendas and meeting documents for the relevant operational meetings of the Schemes.

To provide the Scheme Manager with feedback regarding operational investigations undertaken and breakdowns in service levels and to make recommendations for action.

Manage and escalate queries received from the Scheme to be resolved by MH.

Maintaining a constructive relationship with the scheme and SPN.

Extensive internal liaison within the MH operational functions to ensure synergy between the Scheme's objectives and MH operations.

Coordinate SOP’s (Standard operational processes) in line with the Scheme & SPN rules



WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Matric or an equivalent qualification

Tertiary qualification would be advantageous (in a related field)

Minimum of 5 years in a client relationship management environment

Minimum of 3 years in a medical aid administration environment

Understanding the GEMS model will be an advantage.

Strong communication skills (verbal & written)

Good negotiation skills

Strong people management skills
