About the Role
Join our Private Bank Division as part of the Lending and Ops Enablement team. In this role, you will work closely with business and technology stakeholders, helping to drive process improvement, functional documentation, and project success. This is a 6-month hybrid contract role based in Sandton.
The Business Analyst's responsibilities will include the translation of business requirements for complex solutions into a standard specification format.
They will ensure the quality of the implementation of these requirements, define user acceptance test strategy and cases, perform system testing and co-ordination.
They will liaise with developers to ensure the requirements are clearly understood and implemented accordingly, understand, and define system integration and data flows, perform stakeholder management, user training and communication.
Must adhere to agreed standards, methodologies, and processes.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks with high attention to detail is required.
Qualifications
- Degree in IT, Business, or Engineering (BCom, BSc, or BEng in IT or related).
- Business Analysis certifications would be beneficial.
Experience
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience across multiple application environments, ideally within the Banking or Financial sector.
- Proven knowledge of SDLC with hands-on experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Track record in project and process re-engineering initiatives.
- Skilled in creating specifications, wireframes, mock-ups, diagrams, and flowcharts to communicate requirements clearly.
- Experience collaborating with developers and architects to document functional requirements.
- Ability to present solution designs effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Experience with SQL, data analysis, and creating business data dictionaries.
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud, API integration,
and Web Services is advantageous.
- Experience with test case preparation, UAT facilitation, user training, and post-production support is beneficial.
R650 per hour
