Introduction
5 years plua experience as a Planning Manager secures. You must have manged a team of specialist planners in order to meet business objectives andultimately grow progits.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement and maintain the total planning solution ensuring the right stock in the right place at the right time.
- Co-ordinate the activities of all stakeholders involved in product management (suppliers, buyers, distribution centres, logistics and stores)
- Responsible for placing and managing orders and replenishment functions
- Ensure effective product planning for promotions and events.
- Develop and lead a robust sales and stock forecasting process to optimize product levels and service level agreements.
- To generate and deliver accurate and timely management reports and maintain key metrics against goals
- Lead the team to drive optimisation and ultimately achieve business goals and mazimise profitability.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Relevant commercial or supply chain qualification.
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) in planning management roles.
- Similar experience in Retail or FMCG sector is a must
- Ability to build and develop capability in the business and its people
- Strong, clear communicator
- Strong analytical understanding and high data proficiency
- Pragmatic and action-oriented.
- Willing to drop into the detail
- Affinity to an ambiguous, growth orientated and fast-moving environment.
- Passion for developing and coaching people and strong team ethic

Package & Remuneration
R55000 to R65K per month
