Introduction
Our client, invites applications from External Technical Sales Representatives to provide an outstanding service to all their retail clients through the achievement and control of the sales function by exceeding sales targets, with the ultimate aim of achieving company profitability and objectives.
They are seeking (3) three Sales Representatives on the road (but offices based in):
*Boksburg - Gauteng
*Pinetown - KZN
*Cape Town - Western Cape
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Contributing to the development and application of the retail sales strategy and plans which contribute to the overall business objectives.
2. Managing and controlling all aspects of customer relationship management.
3.
Obtaining new business and the effective management of the portfolio’s top retail clients.
4. Maintaining sound relationships with existing clients and fostering the development of new clients
5. Managing & controlling the progress of sales enquiries through to a successful sale.
6. Providing assistance to finance department in respect of collections and communicating and assistance in resolving customer complaints.
7. Developing, gathering and sharing of market intelligence with all stakeholders.
8. Effective use of SAP and attending to the assimilation of required reporting.
9. Attendance in and participation of stock takes, conference attendance and training sessions.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Living in KZN, Gauteng, Cape
Education - Matric Grade 12 (Added advantage: Certificates in Sales/Marketing or relevant)
Experience - 5 years external sales
- Dynamic fast moving sales within retail building environment
- Travelling out of office environment.
- Experience within a Sales Environment - Building and/or Hardware Industry
Key Competencies and Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills & communication skills
- Excellent planning and organising skills.
Computer Literacy: Microsoft Outlook, SAP
Additional: Driver’s license + Own reliable CAR (not negotiable) Car allowance and petrol card provided
Clear criminal record (will be checked)
Package & Remuneration
Basic Salary (Negotiable) + commission
CTC (incl. company beneftis)
+ petrol card and car allowance
+ cell (+ contract)
