The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) leads and directs the effective formulation, execution and communication of corporate strategy, and strategic intiatives, as well as the generation and leveraging of knowledge for business innovation, while influencing, developing and managing strategic external relations, nationally and internationally.
Key Perfomance Areas:-
- Corporate strategy formulation, execution and renewal
- Coordination of strategic national, infrastructure projects
- Planning and management of bi-national initiatives
- Knowledge generation, diffusion and business innovation
- Corporate communication, social investments and stakeholder management
- Sector and professional leadership, locally and globally
- Management of the diverse strategy division portfolio
Requirements:-
- Relevant Masters qualification
- Minimum of 12 years senior management experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in industry and organisationl strategy development and execution
Advantageous:-
- MBA
- Executive management level experience
- Leadership Development Programme
- Experience in Project Finance and Project Implementation environment
- Experience in the water sector(local and/or global)
