Are you able to perform functional and integration testing across the front end and back end of information solutions, manage defects and end to end traceability across the project lifecycle? The successful candiate will be responsible to establish testing processes and methodologies and manage testing environments.
Key Skills required:
- Communication: The ability to communicate at all levels, the role will require the Tester to be able to
communicate effectively with their team, a peer network of stakeholders, senior executives, technical resources as well as clients.
- Problem solving: The Tester will have to be able to assimilate information from a variety of sources, and develop a coherent test plan, test cases,
as well as ways to automate the testing required.
- Quality: The Tester must have high personal standards and always work to deliver the very best service.
- Organisation: As a regulated business in many countries, all testing and change information and artefacts must be well managed and available. Using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), the Tester must ensure that their responsibility within the lifecycle is well managed.
- Understanding of Test Automation: The Tester is responsible for understanding test automation from both the running and scheduling of, but also from a view of identifying test automation opportunities as well as leading on the implementation of the testing.

Testing and Quality Assurance
1. Develop, maintain and manage the test strategy and test plan
2. Ensure the testing environment is correctly configured as per the test plan
3. Creating tests cases
4. Conduct testing (not limited to: integration, unit, functional, regression and usability)
5. Identify, establish and execute automated testing opportunities
6. Monitor application and software systems
Requirements Review
1. Review business and system requirements with a focus on producing test cases
2. Liaising with system users, product owners, business and systems analysts to understand the scope of the projects as well as produce test cases
3. Assist with Demo's to stakeholders
Lifecycle Management
1.
Coordinate and facilitate defect review meetings
2. Detect, track and manage defects and fixes
3. Manage releases of fixes across environments
4. Ensure change management processes are adhered to
5. Reporting on all aspects of the testing and management thereof, to stakeholders
Work Management
1. Show Flexibility of work patterns to meet time frames and delivery
2. Experience in delivering Agile projects using Jira and other collaboration tools
Relationship
1. Developing and maintaining close working relationships with internal and external Stakeholders as appropriate
General:

2. Any adhoc duties as required from time to time
Matric
2+ years relevant software QA or testing experience
Relevant Information Systems or Computer Science Degree
ISTQB foundation or equivalent
