The SHEQ Officer will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards within our client's manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement while supporting the implementation of SHEQ policies and procedures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain SHEQ management systems in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and deliver SHEQ training programs for employees at all levels.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, providing reports and recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Monitor and report on SHEQ performance metrics, proposing actions for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SHEQ principles into operational practices.
- Stay updated on relevant legislation and best practices in SHEQ management.
- National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a SHEQ role within the manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of SHEQ regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
R400 000 CTC to R450 000 CTC per annum based on experience and qualifications
