Our client within the Facilities Management Industry has an opportunity for a Business Development and Marketing Intern. The position is based in Bryanston, Sandton, Gauteng. The position will be for a period of 12 months on a fixed term contract subject to permanent employment based on performance
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Business Development and Marketing Intern to join our team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development and marketing strategies within [Industry].
Scope of work and Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development Activities:
- Assist in identifying potential business opportunities and market trends.
- Develop and implement lead generation strategies
- Support the preparation of business proposals, presentations, and pitches.
- Participate in meetings and help in building relationships with prospective clients.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Tender and Bids Administration
- Manage and coordinate the entire tender and bids process, ensuring timely submission of proposals.
- Review tender and bids requests, analyze requirements, and prepare comprehensive bid packages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documentation and information.
- Track and monitor tender submissions and outcomes, maintaining accurate records.
Marketing Support:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing campaigns.
- Conduct Market research to indentify new business opportunities and trends in the industry.
- Assist in creating engaging content for social media platforms, blogs, and newsletters.
- Support the analysis of marketing data and performance metrics.
- Help organize and promote events, webinars, and other marketing activities.
Bachelor degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications or related field
Strong passion for business development and marketing strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Creative thinking and and problem solving abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Profiency in Microsoft Office Suite ( Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
Ability to analyze data and presents insights clearly
Ability to work independently as well as collaborately in a team
