Administration and Customer Services – Port Elizabeth
Our client in the Pharmaceutical / Veterinary Industry is seeking a skilled individual for an Administration and Customer Services role.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, with some sales and marketing experience. Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or veterinary field would be advantageous.
Key attributes include quick thinking, problem-solving skills, diligence, self-motivation, meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Diploma or similar tertiary qualification (Required).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Customer Service, ideally in the Pharmaceutical / Veterinary industry (Beneficial).
- Unendorsed Driver’s License and own transport (Required).
- Must be a South African Citizen with a valid South African identity document.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (speak, read, and write).
- Exceptional computer literacy, highly proficient in Microsoft Office, email, and internet. Must be comfortable with and keep up to date with technology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting business correspondence and communicating at a high level with customers and suppliers.
- Must love animals, enjoy working with people, and have a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain solid, trusting relationships with clients.
- Handle customer orders, complaints, and queries with patience and compassion.
- Order from suppliers and source products as needed.
- Perform office administration tasks, including filing, debt collection,
and credit checks.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
- Field incoming calls, chats, and emails, returning voicemails promptly.
- Identify customer needs and provide accurate information and solutions.
- Direct callers to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Generate sales leads and forward them to the branch manager.
- Build professional relationships with customers through excellent service.
- Follow up on customer queries and complaints.
- Collaborate with teams across departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Always adhere to company communication policies and procedures.
- Perform tasks with customer satisfaction as a priority.
- Assist sales reps with client-related tasks.
- Strategically plan to improve client outcomes.
- Collaborate with management to maximize profit through up-selling or cross-selling.
- Plan and present reports on client progress, goals, and initiatives.
- Meet all client deliverables within proposed timelines.
- Analyse client data for improved customer relationship management.
