Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge:
- Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Consumer Science, or Food Technology.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the food industry,
particularly in scientifically developing and launching products.
- Proven expertise in working with enzymes and applying scientific, engineering, and consumer insights in product development.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Ability to translate scientific principles into practical applications in research, formulation, and commercialization of food products.
Functional/Technical Skills:
- Financial Management: Proficient in managing project budgets, ensuring financial principles are applied effectively.
- Technical Expertise: High level of technical knowledge, offering valuable insights and guidance in decision-making.
- Technical Communication: Skilled at conveying complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive Insight: Anticipates trends and develops critical insights, driving innovative solutions.

- Experimental Design: Expertise in experimental design and statistical analysis to guide research and product development.

- Food Safety: Understands and applies food safety principles and HACCP guidelines.
- Effective Communication: Excels in both oral and written communication, ensuring clarity and precision.

- Relationship Building:
Capable of building and maintaining productive relationships with cross-functional teams and management.
- Process Understanding: Deep understanding of how product formulations, processes, and packaging affect quality and cost.
