Description
Our client, a leader in the IT industry, is currently looking to employ a Financial Manager based in Cape Town (Northern Suburbs).
The financial manager will have a team of accountants and clerks reporting to them. They will oversee the daily accounting process of the business as well as be responsible for the monthly / quarterly / annual financial reporting.
As a Financial Manager, you will be expected to provide a high standard of financial and business reports and analysis that will assist the executives in making key decisions for the business.

Requirements :
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience (excluding article time).
- Strong experience in financial analysis and reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with lookups and pivot tables.
- Experience with SAGE and Pastel Partner.
- Ability to develop financial and operational models.
- Matric (required) and bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
- SAIPA or CIMA qualification (advantageous).

- Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to learning new concepts and participating in projects.
- Strong numerical aptitude, positive work attitude, and ability to anticipate workload impacts on team deadlines.
- Flexibility and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and problem-solving skills.
- Strong account management skills.
- Required to reside in the Northern Suburbs.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to :
- Oversee the daily processing for the finance team.
- Review of monthly reconciliations.
- Treasury management.
- Month-end process completion (including monthly journal preparations).
- Monthly / quarterly / annual financial reporting.
- Prepare and run annual audits and financial statements.
- Financial analysis.
- Process improvement.
- Ad hoc projects as assigned by the Managing Director.
