The aim of this role is to help speed up IT equipment refurbishment to clients, by configuring laptop and desktop machines.
The IT Technician will be required to inspect IT equipment, diagnose faults on machines, re-configure and re-image (load any software necessary for user to start working) as well as decommissioning of old machines, fixing those machines where possible and redeploying to clients.






The incumbent must have excellent knowledge of technology equipment as well as: an understanding of generic company systems and processesgood knowledge of LAN/ WAN networksinternet servicesemail services security managementlaptops and desktop equipmentinstalling and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scannersdiagnostic and troubleshooting for hardware and software faultsroot cause analysis and identify common trends with issuesstrong communication skills, both written and verbalcurrent best practices for technology systems, equipment, software, and securityhandle confidential information well and work independently and with a teamproblem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise work efficientlyhighly focused on weekly Project Targets and Deliverables The applicant will be required to coordinate successfully all equipment related activities, all support related activities,





prioritising impactful tasks over others while following up with service providers concerning deliverables.
They will be required to be in good health, be physically capable to move equipment around, work in a dynamic corporate team, where professionalism, efficiency and effectiveness is highly important for our client. The environment is fast paced, constantly administering and deploying technology related changes.
