Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Validate and review payroll inputs, including timesheets and allowances
- Coordinate with various departments to maintain up-to-date employee information
- Resolve payroll-related queries, providing excellent customer service
- Prepare and submit payroll-related tax filings and reports
- Generate insightful payroll reports for management and stakeholders
- Implement and maintain efficient payroll systems and processes
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Administer employee benefits and manage leave-related matters
- Stay current with South African payroll regulations and labor laws
- Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist in South Africa
- Proficiency in SAGE 300 and Eco-Time (advantageous)
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Experience in time capturing and overtime data management
