Medical Sales Representative (Orthodontic Experience)
Location: Must be living in KZN position is Remote: Sales areas are KZN, Durban and sorrounds

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Medical Sales Representative with specialized experience in orthodontics to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the orthodontic industry and proven success in medical device or dental product sales. You will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of orthodontic products to dental clinics, orthodontists, and healthcare professionals, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Promote and sell orthodontic products (brackets, aligners, wires, etc.) to dental clinics, orthodontists, and healthcare professionals.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territory.
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships through regular visits and communication.
- Present and demonstrate product features and benefits to healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clients are supported in product use and satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing product knowledge and technical expertise on orthodontic solutions.
- Attend and support orthodontic and dental industry events, conferences, and workshops to build brand awareness.
- Sales Strategy & Target Achievement:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity,
adjusting sales strategy as needed.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns and initiatives.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Reporting & Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and product feedback in CRM systems.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.
- Provide feedback from the field to inform product development and improvements.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse client groups.
- Technical aptitude and ability to understand complex medical products.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory is non negotiable
Key Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Matric
- Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience in the medical or dental field, specifically within orthodontics.
- Degree or Diploma in Dentistry is advantageous
- Dental Assistant, Dental Nurse, Dentists wanting to move into a Sales position or also excepted
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, devices, and product applications is essential.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Benefits:
- Working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
(Please note: Shows, congresses,
and meetings are often held during weekends and after hours.)
- Salary: Up to R 30,000.00 basic, plus commission.
- 13th cheque (not guaranteed).
- Fuel card and toll expenses covered.
- Company-provided cell phone.
- Subsistence costs covered (including flights, accommodation, and meals during travel).
