Marketing & Sales Manager

Job description

An exciting opportunity to join an entrepreneurial and professional business to lead, manage and execute proactive brand marketing, sales and communication activities.

The candidate must be highly motivated, enthusiastic, productive and with knowledge in events management, sales, networking, key account management and business development.

Marketing and sales will include, but not limited to:

· Marketing plans – market research, analysis, company position etc.

· Company presentation - posters, pamphlets,





signage, onsite branding initiatives, catalogue designs

· Direct marketing – project and event management, exhibitions, attending relevant events, liaising with our sponsored partners, etc.

· Networking – generating leads, closing deals and positively representing the brand.

· Sales and corporate - Reaching out to corporates, hotels and tour/travel agencies for functions, business dinners

· Online and digital marketing – Social media platforms, website management, content creation and management, liaising with online partners, e-mail marketing, SEO optimization, online review portals, etc.

Requirements

· Post matric qualification relating to the field (marketing, sales, communications, media)

· Must have a minimum of three years of combined experience in marketing and sales.

· Experience in the hospitality industry will be advantageous

· Ability to accordingly allocate a budget and a strong financial acumen to work within set budget







· Ability to work within a team and all staff on-site

· Experience in networking and building strategic, revenue-generating relationships to grow the brand

· Experience in PR development, PR events, digital PR, influencer campaigns and crisis management

· Able to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude

· Must be able to hold yourself accountable for all aspects in the position required

· Highly organised

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent time-management skills

· Must be able to differentiate between urgent and important tasks

· Able to solve problems and find valuable solutions

· Must enjoy working in a fast-paced busy environment
