Kendrick Recruitment is Currently Seeking a Lodge Manager!
Are you ready to take the reins at a stunning luxury private game lodge in KZN, South Africa? We are searching for a dynamic Lodge Manager to oversee all operations and deliver an unforgettable guest experience at this well-established property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all lodge operations with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Foster a guest-centric environment by anticipating needs and enhancing experiences with thoughtful touches.
- Supervise and train a team of 25 staff members,
ensuring high standards of service and effective teamwork.
- Oversee budget management, stock control, and property maintenance to maintain lodge standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the lodge remains immaculate and operationally sound.
- Engage with guests, check them in/out, and provide top-tier hospitality.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role at a 4- or 5-star bush lodge.
- Mature, well-presented individual with a passion for hospitality.
- Excellent English communication skills; proficiency in Afrikaans and Zulu is a plus.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a hands-on approach.
- Knowledge of relevant labor laws and sound negotiation skills.
- A proven track record in staff management and guest relations.
Package: Monthly Salary - live-in accommodation, food while on duty, 21 consecutive days of annual leave, and an annual bonus based on performance. Enjoy 7 days off each month in a breathtaking environment!
