Introduction
Our client a local distributor of fluid control products (steel pipes, fittings, valves, flanges, pumps, and irrigation) is looking for a technically minded trader to assist customers with their selections and offer technical advice.
Duties & Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, providing product information, and offering suitable solutions based on customer requirements.
- Utilize your in-depth knowledge of fluid control products, benefits, and technical specifications to customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers,
stay informed about industry trends, and develop effective sales strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Prepare and present sales quotes, negotiate prices, and close sales deals.
- Continuously update your knowledge of product offerings, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
Desired Experience & Qualification
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 or more years’ experience trading fluid control products is essential and not negotiable (pipes, fittings, valves, irrigation fittings, flanges, and other fluid control related products.
- Completed matric
- Computer literate
- Technically minded
- Reliable transport
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
