Our client looking for an Agile Programme Manager to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the overall planning, governance, and successful delivery of Software and Business projects/epics into the business and will be reporting to our CEO.
The candidate must have practical experience of having managed large deliverables (Software and Business implementations) in an agile environment.
What you'll do:
Liaise and work with the various stakeholders (Including clients) and Business Unit Executive Heads to align the objectives/outcomes of the assigned programme with the Businesses overall strategy and
Drive programme priority across business
Guide business units on resourcing and structure across Projects/epic.
Ensures all Projects/Epics have a clear benefit hypothesis / statement and clear acceptance
Manage the Programme approval and prioritisation
Align Programme Deliverables
Coordinate and synchronize Projects/epic-related activities with all
Manage the Programme
Manage the Programme Risk
Defining the programme governance (controls)
For Software Projects, collaborate with the Software Product Management and System and Solution Architects/Engineering to decompose the project into features and prioritize the features of Agile Release Train (ART)
Manage Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demos, and other SAFe
Continuous coaching of SAFe for roll out across additional business
Understand and report on the progress of the Projects/epics MVP deliverables with key
Continually assesses the viability of the Projects/epic, leading indicators and the outcomes defined for the
Working closely with Project Managers/Scrum Masters for projects within the
Working closely with Test Managers for projects within the
Your expertise:
10+ years in Project Management (At least 5 in managing Agile Projects).
Experience in managing projects with both physical and digital
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework Portfolio Management is
Experience with Office 365 (Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Excel).
Experience with tools like JIRA, MS DevOps,
Experience with Design Thinking tools like Miro, Figma,
Experience with DevOps and increasing Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment maturity is advantageous
Qualifications required:
Relevant tertiary
Agile Project Management Certification (preferably CPAPM or SAFe).
Skills and attributes:
Deep understanding of iterative product development methodologies - such as SAFe and scrum
Ability to work with and influence remote
Strong planning, communication (written and verbal), presentation, negotiation, facilitation
Strong leadership and management
The ability to manage project/product
The ability to coach business units to manage resource
The ability to find innovative ways to resolve
Project Cross Skills would be advantageous (Change Management, Test Analyst, Business Analyst etc.).
