Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- BCom in Human Resource Management
- Valid Drivers License and own vehicle
- Experience in managing a headcount of 250 500 employees
- 5 10 years experience in a similar role
- Full function recruitment, performance management and IR
- Extensive experience on Pastel Payroll and MS Office
- Process all Human Resources documents
- Assist line management in all matters of an IR nature and represent the business at CCMA as required
- Identify and arrange any training and development required
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
- Develop procedures within the Human Resources Department
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Add new employees / Update existing employee information on Pastel
- Ensure company benefits such as Pension and Medical aid is calculated and deducted correctly, and payment thereof made to the supplier
- Prepare and submit tax reports, including bi annual and annual submission (IRP5s)
- Stay updated on changing tax laws and implement adjustments as required
- Ensure payroll is compliant with regulations
- Provide guidance to managers on employee appraisals, feedback and improvement plans
- Forward resumes received for open positions to the appropriate manager in a timely manner
