My client, who specializes in FMCG (Fresh Produce) is looking for a workshop supervisor to join their dynamic team Minimum requirements:

- Must have completed Grade 12
- Diploma in a specialized trade such as fitter and turner, Boiler maker, Electrician, Plumber, Welder or Mechanics
- Must have a valid driver's license - PDP will be advantageous
- Forklift license also and advantage
- Must have 5 years working experience in a similar role/environment
- Must have 2 years working experience in people management, overseeing interns, learners and assistants
- Prepare,





supervise and control workshop activities and schedule work in the workshop
- Diagnose all packhouse concerns
- Ensure resources are available to meet production requests
- Administer stock
- Conduct investigations and checks in the workshop
- Assist with deliveries and collections
- Assist with onsite machine installations and maintenance
- Perform inspections and repairs of machinery to ensure proper performance
- Oversee maintenance specialists schedules
- Adherence to Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations, Health and Safety rules and procedures of the workplace
- Working hours will be Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:00 and Saturday 07:00 - 12:00
