Planet Fitness is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness and wellness, coupled with a strong creative vision and extensive experience in graphic design. This role requires a highly creative individual who can lead design projects from concept to completion, ensuring all visuals align with the Planet Fitness brand and engage our diverse audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership:
- Lead the creative direction and execution of design projects, including marketing campaigns, digital and print advertisements, social media content, and in-club materials.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director and marketing team to develop innovative and compelling visual content that enhances the Planet Fitness brand.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Brand Development:
- Maintain and evolve the Planet Fitness visual identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms and materials.
- Develop and enforce brand guidelines to ensure cohesive visual communication.
- Digital Design:
- Create engaging digital assets for web, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
- Work with the digital marketing team to optimize designs for user experience and conversion.
- Print Design:
- Design and oversee the production of print materials, including posters, brochures, flyers, and in-club signage.
- Ensure high-quality print production standards are met.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, content,
and product teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to present design concepts and receive feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in graphic design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a senior or lead role.
- Proven experience in both digital and print design.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Proficient in Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro.
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design.
- Experience with video editing software and motion graphics is a plus.
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
