Financial Manager Krugersdorp Gauteng
Our client in Krugersdorp operating in the manufacturing sector is looking for a qualified Financial Manager with 12 years plus years’ experience. You need to be a qualified accountant in the sense of SAICA or SAIPA / ACCA. Solid Financial & Team management experience preferable from the manufacturing / construction environment. Experience with yearly financial statements, costings and budgeting.
Salary: Market related – OFFICE BASED
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Qualified Accountant – SAIPA OR SAICA
- Previous experience in the construction / fabrication industry
- 12+ years’ experience as Finance Manager,
managing a team of finance people
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures, including GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software like Sage, XERO, Excel and MS Office applications, for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Key Duties:
- Responsible for the full reporting, secretarial, SARS compliance, payroll, HR, cash management, budgeting and audit preparation function for 3 companies.
- Streamline financial processes and procedures and implement budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Implementing cost-saving measures where possible
- Checking and validating intercompany and related party transactions and accounts.
- Overseeing, authorising, cross checking of entries
- Upkeep of fixed asset register for audit file and insurance purposes.
- Monthly and year end stock take over seeing and validating for monthly management statement and audit file for yearend Financial Statements.
- Compiling of yearend Financial Statements
- Calculating and validating employee salaries on Payroll program and insuring complains with Statutory regulation form SARS.
