Formal qualificationsA bachelors degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or civil) or related field is preferredHigh proficiency in Microsoft ProjectsCertifications in project management or related areas will be an added advantageFluent in EnglishValid driving license code 08Own transportSpecial conditionsRelocation to Klerksdorp is essentialThe successful incumbent must be willing to travel and to work outside of South African borders for prolonged periods of timeThe successful incumbent should have a valid passport ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing smoothly.Provide engineering expertise and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.Maintain thorough documentation of project activities, including plans, designs, reports, and updates.Identify potential risks and develop strategies to ensure project success.Ensure all project activities meet or exceed industry standards, regulations, and company quality guidelines.Address technical issues and project challenges, providing solutions to keep the project on track.Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projectsMonitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, quality related policies, performance standards and specificationsDaily interaction with clients to determine, interpret and implement their needs and requirements and represent them in the fieldTaking control of entire project (budget, schedule, plans, staff performance, financial status) and provide regular reports to relevant stakeholdersAssign responsibilities to team membersCoaching and mentoring the team membersReview deliverables and initiate corrective action if need be Inherent requirements for the positionHigh proficiency in MS ProjectsProficiency in project administrationExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical informationTechnical writing skills for project documentation,
