Our client seeks to employ a energetic and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, inspire students, and promote academic growth while adhering to the South African curriculum standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the curriculum requirements.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay updated with educational trends and pedagogical techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and development.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to support student learning and well-being.
- Contribute to school events and extracurricular activities.
Requirements
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field.
- SACE registration (South African Council for Educators).
- Proven experience in teaching primary school students (preferably 2+ years).
- Strong knowledge of the South African National Curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for education.
Skills :
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Proficient in using educational technology and resources.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Creative and innovative approach to lesson planning and teaching.
