Job Description
Your duties will encompass:
- Obtaining quotes from the Approved Suppliers and compare prices and delivery dates.
- Purchase goods, materials, or components in line with specified quality and delivery targets.
- Sign for the goods received after the following was verified against the Purchase Order:
- Raise a Goods Receive note in the System.
- Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.
- Communicate delivery dates and any supply problems which may impact on business operations.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff,
and visitors.
- Test equipment returned from sites to establish what can still be used by the business.
- Repair equipment where possible that is returned as faulty.
- Stock Take.
- Issuing stock.
- Receive stock from Suppliers.
- Receive stock back from sites.
- Assist IT Department when it is not busy with setting up Computers and other basic tasks.
- Fully responsible for all stock losses as the stock is locked away under your care.
Qualifications
- Matric.
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain.
Skills
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Procurement and Warehouse Supervisor.
- Security industry experience.
- Proficient in MS Office and Navision.
Salary / Package
R20K - R28K CTC
