Golf and Utility Fleet SA is looking for a Specialist: Technician to join their team at Kempton Park, Spartan branch. Position Overview
The purpose of the position is to perform maintenance to vehicles in order to ensure a fleet of vehicles which are available, reliable and safe to operate.
Specific Role Responsibilities
- Perform admin duties relevant to the role.
- Maintain inventory control by completing necessary admin for booking out parts and adhering to process in place for this.
- Maintain lube controls.
- Complete reports to report problems and work performed.
- Maintain safe and clean working conditions.
- Diagnostics on electric motors and combustion engines
- Perform servicing and repairs on site
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge, DC and AC systems
- All admin related to a technician’s job function e.g: job cards, quotes
- Communication with clients
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent- essential
- Tertiary qualifications will be an advantage
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- 2 years of experience in a Workshop / Field Technician Environment
Minimum Requirements
- Valid unendorsed code 08 Drivers License, Code 10 or 14 will be an advantage
- Own Transport
