We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Sandton, Gauteng.
Role: Civil Engineer (Mine Waste Services)
Industry: Civil/Mining Engineering
Level: Mid-Senior Level
Key Requirements:
- BSc/BEng or BTech in Civil Engineering with an ECSA registration
- 6 years' experience in mine waste services
- Proven experience in the design, building, and maintenance of Tailings Storage
- Strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously while providing design services
- Strong technical knowledge in tailings management, geotechnics, heap leaching, and water management
- Experience in reviewing reports and conducting audits
- Proven ability to manage teams and mentor junior staff
Personal Attributes:
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and mentor others
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
- Adaptable and willing to travel to site locations as needed
- Committed to maintaining high safety and quality standards
