Our legal practice, is looking for an experienced and highly organised Conveyancing Secretary to become part of our team in Pretoria East, Gauteng. The perfect candidate should possess a Paralegal /Conveyancing qualification and have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a comparable position.
- Handle all aspects of the conveyancing process, including document preparation, client communication, and liaising with relevant parties
- Assist with property transfers and related legal procedures
- Manage deadlines and ensure timely completion of all conveyancing tasks
- Maintain accurate records and files as well as finance management
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Work independently and managing the workload
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property transfers and conveyancing.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Paralegal/conveyancing course advantageous
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in relevant legal software (LexisConvey or similar) and Microsoft Office suite
