Individuals with a completed qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field will qualify for the role of Workshop Manager. Leadership skills and industry understanding and experience are vital.
The Workshop Manager will oversee the operations of the Valves Assembly and Repairs Workshop, ensuring that all activities are performed efficiently and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves managing a team of workshop staff, implementing efficient work standards and processes, and liaising with other departments to meet repair and assembly targets and maintain customer satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in workshop management, preferably in the valve or related industries.
- Strong understanding of valve products, manufacturing processes, and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a workshop environment.
