Our client is seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead their dynamic team and drive the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about technology and team development.Duties & ResponsibilitiesQualifications:
- A degree (preferred) or diploma/equivalent NQF Level 6/7 qualification.
- Relevant programming qualifications or certifications.
- Certification in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Certification in Project Management or a related field.
Knowledge and Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of development experience, with approximately 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in full SDLC team and cross-functional team management.
- Understanding of clean code principles, SOLID principles, service design, and design patterns.
- Solid grasp of Agile principles and values.
- Proficiency in .NET Framework 3.5, 4.0 & 4.5+, ASP.NET, Blazor, and Angular.
- Strong skills in SQL, T-SQL, SQL Server, and SQL stored procedures.
- Experience with ETL, SSIS, and DTS packages.
- Knowledge of Windows service applications, web services, MVC, and APIs.
- DevOps experience with monitoring and alerting stacks.
- Familiarity with source control systems, such as Azure DevOps.
- Experience in IT service and application management.
- Proficient in Azure, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, or similar tools.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Suite and other data entry software.
