Role Summary: To perform financial and commercial assessment as well as provide recommendation and comments to Investment Associates and Regional Manager on all areas of transaction execution.
Experience / Skills Required:
- Minimum of 2 years in financial analysis or similar experience in the corporate finance/ Banking/ DFI environment
- Experience in deals assessment and ability to apply financial modelling methodologies
- A generalist in small and medium enterprises (SMEs), franchise, procurement and entrepreneurship finance area
- Understanding of the company mandate and investment guidelines
- Possess good analytical and modelling skills
- An expert analyst demonstrating high command of the abilities required to perform the role
- Ability to apply processes with ability to move beyond the standard process with help to produce highly insightful diagnoses
- Able to identify important issues and highlight them to team for consideration
- Good at knowledge gathering, finding additional relevant information from unusual sources
- Can develop good, actionable recommendations and a strong contributor in discussions on investment implications
- Structures own work and meet /exceed all commitments and targets
- Participation in team problem solving and contribute to team effectiveness
- Willingness to travel
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting / Economics / Finance or equivalent
