Are you a skilled Cost Management Accountant with experience in the manufacturing industry? My client, a well-established furniture manufacturer, is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join their team. If you thrive in a fast-paced production environment, this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and control manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, and overheads.
- Analyze variances and investigate discrepancies between actual and standard costs.
- Collaborate with operations to optimize cost efficiency.
- Support in pricing strategies by providing accurate cost data.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cost Accountant in manufacturing.
- Accounting/Finance Degree Non-Negotiable (SAICA Accredited)
- Completed Articles Highly Beneficial
- SAIPA / AGA / CMA Qualification - Highly Beneficial
- Proficiency in Sage 200 and Sync systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with cost control, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
Remuneration: R35 000 - R45 000
