**Junior Assistant Accountant - Hotel Group - Central Durban**
**Synopsis**:
An established hotel group in central Durban is seeking a Junior Assistant Accountant to join their finance department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a budding finance professional looking to grow their accounting career.
**Description**:
You will assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance, ensuring that financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts.
- Assist with the processing of invoices, payments, and payroll.
- Support the finance team with month-end closing procedures.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department as required.
**Requirements**:
- A diploma or degree in accounting or finance.
- Previous experience in an accounting role or internship is advantageous.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the finance field.
