A well-established 4-star hotel in Johannesburg is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to join their team. This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily management of front office operations, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest services.
- Supervise and support the front desk team, ensuring high levels of professionalism and service.
- Manage guest relations, addressing complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless service across the hotel.
- Monitor and manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during shifts.
- Oversee the training and development of front office staff to enhance performance.
- Assist with the preparation of reports on occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
Requirements:
- SA citizen.
- Recent experience in front office management within a large volume 4/5* hotel.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Opera or similar).
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- A passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
