Accounting Clerk/Assistant : East London, Eastern Cape

Introduction

Our client, with offices in East London, Eastern Cape South Africa, has a vacancy for an Accounting Clerk/Assistant (junior vacancy) required to start 2 January 2025.

Knowledge and Skills Required

- Advanced Excell Skills – Vlookups, Pivots
- and invoicing skills- use Pastel
- Experience with E-Filing – Income Tax, Provisional Tax and VAT returns
- Payroll experience – SAGE payroll, Payslips EMP201 and EMP 501 submissions and the issue of IRP5’s
- Good Understanding of VAT and income Tax legislations
- Experience with company secretary work – CIPC documentation, issue of shared, director changes, annual returns, beneficial ownership etc






- Experience with preparing and reading Annual Financial Statements IFRS and IFRS for SME’s background.

Minimum Requirements
- Post matric qualification
- Previous working experience using skills required

Remuneration

R150 000 - R192 000 per annum
