IntroductionA modern provider of education and training who specialises in online learning is looking for a Business Development Consultant to join their team. Duties & Responsibilities
- Attaining annual and quarterly-set corporate sales targets
- Meet, or exceed, the individual corporate sales target which is set annually.
- Implementing best practise trends in corporate marketing and sales.
- Sell the services and solutions that the company offers.
- Attend to client request for written proposals and/or presentations by crafting a solution with the general manager/academic manager, amending the standard template proposal to identified requirements and sending it.
- Present the overview and functionality of the online platform to prospective clients.
- Compile tenders as required.
- Create sales opportunities through marketing efforts.
- Generate leads in collaboration with marketing and convert leads to sales.
- Find new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline for future deals.
- Maintain current client relationships and build new client relationships.
- Respond to new and current client base regarding service enquiries, complaints, etc.
- Create service level agreement for client in consultation with the relevant faculty head and general manager or academic manager.
- Attend hand over meeting to faculty with sufficient information for faculty to complete the project dashboard.
- Any other reasonable request from management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- National Senior Certificate.Relevant NQF 8 qualification.
- 3 - 5 years of sales experience with proven successful sales track record
- Experience working with Client Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Experience with Business to Business (B2B)
marketing strategy, planning and execution.
- Corporate new business development and key account management sales skills.Customer service practices skills
- Problem solving and decision making.
- Good knowledge of the SA Post-School Education and Training PSET system would be advantageous.
- High level of digital competency
- Excellent business communication (both verbal and written)Strong business numeracy capability
