Professional Officer
Requirements
- Relevant BTech or first degree in a related field such
as Public Administration, Business Management, Policy,
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Two (2) to three (3) years’ relevant experience with a
focus in business planning, public management, finance,
performance management or monitoring and evaluation
- Code EB driver’s licence
- Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite
Key Performance Areas
- Support and coordinate the research, development
and implementation of performance management plans
for City strategies, plans, frameworks, programmes and
projects, including for the Integrated Development Plan
(IDP)
- Maintain, enhance and ensure quarterly updates of
the performance tracker for the IDP
- Monitor national and provincial legislation affecting
the IDP and performance management to support City
performance management policy reviews and updates.
- Develop training material and facilitate training for
stakeholders
- Compile and analyse quarterly performance reports.
- Oversee the quality review of quarterly performance
information for audit readiness.
- Implement project M&E; and any other related tasks
as needed.
- Build organisational capacity for effective performance
management and planning,
including implementing annual
performance management maturity surveys.
