As a Google Workspace Implementation Specialist at CloudSmiths, you will be responsible for administering Google Workspace environments, both internally and for our clients. You will conduct security and deployment architecture assessments, provide in-depth training for clients, support sales efforts by training teams, and perform pre sales demos.
Your expertise will ensure seamless deployments, migrations, integrations, support, and optimisation of Google Workspace solutions. Due to the nature of the role, it will be expected that the candidate also administer some of our additional cloud services and solutions that are integrated with Google Workspace.
Key Responsibilities & Outputs
- Administration:
- Administer and manage Google Workspace environments for both CloudSmiths and client organisations.
- Administer our MDM solutions including anti-virus control panels
- Administer the operational onboarding of new clients via the distribution solutions
- Ensure consistent updates and best practices are applied across environments.
- Security & Architecture Assessments:
- Conduct in-depth security assessments and deployment architecture reviews on Google Workspace environments to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Identify and address any potential vulnerabilities.
- Client Training & Support:
- Provide training to clients on the usage, administration, and security of Google Workspace.
- Offer ongoing support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to Google Workspace.
- Sales Enablement:
- Train CloudSmiths sales teams on how to position and sell Google Workspace solutions effectively.
- Assist with creating sales materials and talking points tailored to Google Workspace offerings.
- Demos & Presales Activities:
- Be able to demonstrate Google Workspace technical solutions and assist the sales team with pre-sales activities & presentations to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to address technical inquiries and customise demos as needed.
- Integration & Deployment:
- Develop, deploy,
and administer all Google Workspace integrations, ensuring they meet business needs and are executed efficiently.
- Plan and fully execute the deployment, migration and onboarding of clients from their incumbent solutions into the Google Workspace environment utilising the Google best practices methodologies and or 3rd party solutions
- Support:
- Respond to and resolve all support requests related to internal and client Google Workspace environments promptly
Role Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Professional Google Workspace Administrator certification will be advantageous
- Proven experience in administering Google Workspace environments.
- Strong understanding of security and deployment architecture within Google Workspace.
- Experience in providing both client and internal training.
- Ability to perform engaging demos and support sales teams with technical knowledge.
- Experience in Google Workspace integrations and their deployment.
- Problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Business and commercial experience relating to pricing and estimations advantageous
- General knowledge of IT equipment and operating systems
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Google Workspace and its tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Expertise in security best practices for cloud-based environments.
- Experience with sales enablement and pre-sales activities.
- Ability to self up-skill on relevant technologies, software and applications
- Adaptability in so far as being able to onboard and utilise complimentary ‘non Google’ applications and services to facilitate the above mentioned job role
