Duties & Responsibilities
Talent Candey is assisting a reputable Retail client that is seeking a skilled Retail Brand Custodian/Allocator/Trainee Planner to join their company based in Durban North.
Salary:
Market-related (depending on experience)
Working hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 - 4:30pm
Requirements:
- Matric
- Must have own reliable transport
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Degree in financial/retail planning would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Managing order books for the season
- Ensure that proper inventory levels are allocated to supply new store openings.
- Execute the release of merchandise inventory from the distribution centres to supply stores for retail sales.
- Develop allocation strategies for specific plan levels and execute physical allocations.
- Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels based on sales trends, forecast and store size.
- Collaborate with the buying team and distribution centres on incoming and outgoing merchandise deals.
- Build strong relationships with DC inbound, DC outbound, stores and District Team Leaders.
- Develop knowledge of store attribute performance and trends through data analysis and field communication.
- Loading of promotions and markdowns
