Job Overview:
We are looking for a hard-working, motivated Merchandiser to assist a Sales Representative in Johannesburg and surrounding areas. This role involves building stands, merchandising stock, and promoting our brand in the retail market. The candidate will be responsible for traveling extensively, maintaining in-store displays, and assisting with promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
-Travel to existing and new customers within Johannesburg and surrounding areas.
-Merchandise stock in-store to ensure optimal visibility.
-Build and maintain display stands.
-Re-merchandise or move stock to appropriate locations as needed.
-Pick up and drop off product credits when required.
-Label display stands with updated pricing or promotional materials.
-Assist with promotional events and promo days in various stores.
Experience:
-Experience in the hardware industry is an advantage but not compulsory. Training will be provided.
Key Attributes:
-A young, hard-working professional who can take ownership of their tasks.
-Strong planning and organizational skills.
-Willingness to travel extensively across Johannesburg and surrounding regions.
Requirements:
-Minimum Education: Matric (Grade 12)
-Residing in or near Johannesburg.
-Own reliable vehicle is essential.
Remuneration & Benefits:
***Salary +/- R10 000 monthly + Pension Fund
-Petrol Allowance & Basic Car Services: Provided
-Travel Expenses: Fully covered
-Optional Medical Aid: Available as part of the cost to company
