What you will be doing:
- Oversee the entire software development process, from initial concept to delivery, ensuring smooth and timely execution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (product owners, developers, and testers) to ensure everyone is aligned on project goals.
- Proactively manage and address project risks and issues, fostering clear and open communication.
- Coordinate resources across multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met and staying within budget.
- Track progress and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
- Ensure high-quality software by adhering to best practices in development and testing.
- Continuously improve SDLC workflows, driving efficiency.
- Keep comprehensive project documentation while ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
What you need:
- A tertiary qualification would be beneficial.
- PMP certification.
- 3 - 5 years managing software development projects.
- Expertise with either PRINCE2 or PMP methodologies and hands-on SDLC experience, managing all phases from requirements gathering to maintenance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders while guiding teams toward project goals.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to address project challenges and ensure smooth execution.
- Familiar with project management tools like JIRA, Trello, and software development tools like Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
- Proficient in productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace for effective project tracking and documentation.
