We are partnering with our client to find a self-driven and experienced Senior Manager for their Student Accommodation division. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the student accommodation asset class, including research, reporting, student life programs, opportunity sourcing, design and development, and deal-making skills. The ideal candidate will manage development projects from start to finish and excel in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new student accommodation opportunities in South Africa and Africa.
- Conduct due diligence, manage development teams, and ensure projects meet agreements.
- Oversee budgeting, research,
and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide input on student life programs and track performance.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant graduate degree required; postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in the property/building industry.
- Proven experience in business development, deal-making, and team management.
- Strong commercial awareness, negotiation, and project management skills.
