Job DescriptionThis concern in the East Rand is looking for an out of the box thinking General Sales Manager to manage, retain and develop the mutuality beneficial partnership between the company and clients to achieve market share growth within the regional airfreight sector. The incumbent will be responsible with managing and providing efficient and effective customer service by leading and motivating the customer service team and developing programs to create customer satisfaction goals.The key responsibilities for this role will include:Contract and rate negotiationsFreight agents and airline collaborationCustomer servicesCustomer service team management (Reservation Agents)Revenue growth and managementCustomer retention As you will be responsible for hitting the ground running extensive experience is essential. You will also be hands-on involved with the department. The requirements:Qualification:Completed Degree in Supply Chain, Aviation r Sales and Marketing (NQF Level 7)Dangerous Goods Category 6Live Animal Regulations TrainingExperience:2 Years experience in the Airline and Freight Industry (Supervisory or Team Leader)2 Years Customer Service experienceSkills Required:Knowledge of IVS (Operations and Finance)Company and customer expertiseStrategic perspective and adaptabilityAnalytical reviewBasic finance and cost managementValue based sellingStrong English comprehension
