Financial AccountantMy client within the Financial Services sector has a 6 month contract opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join their team. The ideal individual will be someone who has previous experience within the financial services sector, is results driven, and able to collaborate well with others.Responsibilities:Preparation, review and submission of financial results of property subsidiariesOpening fund controls/journals including intercompany related journalsAssist with preparation and submission of regulatory returns of property subsidiariesConfirmation of intergroup/related party balancesCompletion of annual financial statements for property subsidiaries in accordance with accounting standardsComplete statutory returns for retirement fundsAssist with ad hoc financial tasksRequirements:BCom/BTech qualification with financial accountingMinimum of 2 years' financial reporting experience within the Financial / Insurance industryGood technical accounting knowledgeSAP exposure will be advantageous
