This beautiful Wine Estate perched high on the hills in Durbanville with panoramic views of Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean offers daily a la carte lunch and dinner at the all-glass "look-out" restaurant and wine tasting centre.
We are in search of a SENIOR CDP Hot & COLD Section for the a la carte restaruant to be able to run his / her own section during service on this brigade of 16 chefs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Formal cheffing qualification
At least 4 years experience in a FAST-PACED FINE DINING kitchen
Strong knowledge and skill working with fish and meat, veg and sauces
Excellent plating skills and refined attention to detail
Able to collaborate with other team members for EFFICIENCY & QUALITY OF WORK
Effective communication skills in ENGLISH needed when serving guests at the one ACTION CHEF DEMO STATION and on the terrace
OWN TRANSPORT is essential as no staff transport is provided
