A well-known fast-food chain in South Africa is currently looking for Financial Manager to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This role involves leading financial management and strategy to optimize performance, ensure compliance, and support sustainable growth within a dynamic food industry environment.
Duties:
- Oversee the full financial management function, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial performance.
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior management to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
- Lead financial audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure effective controls.
Qualifications & skills:
- Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Manager in the FMCG, manufacturing, or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
