A top provider of innovative solutions in the mining and mineral exploration sector is seeking a results-oriented Financial Manager to join their finance team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial management and strategy to maintain the organization's fiscal health and foster sustainable growth within the mining industry.
Duties:
- Manage the full finance function, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Oversee cash flow management and working capital optimization.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support organizational goals.
- Lead financial audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure accurate reporting.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance and drive business growth.
Qualifications & skills:
- Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Manager in the oil and gas or financial services industry.
- Proven experience in managing the full finance function and financial reporting.
