Position Details:

Reports to: Global Operations Manager
Job description / core competencies:
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all site operations comply with health, safety, and environmental policies, both company-specific and client-specific. * Customer Relations & Upsell Opportunities:
Identify and communicate the company's value to the customer. Act as the company liaison on project-related matters and identify upsell opportunities. * Project Planning & Execution:
Coordinate project logistics including resource requirements, site layout, scheduling, and equipment/materials procurement. Ensure smooth execution within quoted time and budget. * On-Site Engineering:
Serve as the technical liaison on-site, ensuring quality management and compliance with client requirements.
Manage project scope, change orders, and commercial variations. * Team Management & Development:
Oversee and mentor team leaders and crew, ranging from 5 to 60 personnel. Ensure end-of-project evaluations and performance monitoring. * Cost Control & Efficiency:
Monitor and control project costs, minimize waste, and ensure resource optimization for maximum profitability. * Equipment & Process Support:
Understand the operational requirements of equipment and provide guidance for repairs, maintenance, and technical inspections. Support internal/external projects and new product development. * Business Development:
Attend pre-bid meetings and support on-site business development by identifying additional project opportunities.
Collaborate with sales personnel and account managers.

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on project management expertise for complex industrial projects.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage resources, and maintain situational leadership.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and project management software.
- Understanding of cost management and expenditure optimization.
Effort/Working Conditions:
- Challenging work environments including refineries, paper mills, and power plants (domestic and international).
- Extensive travel (4-7 months annually), with project durations between 2-6 weeks.
- Physical demands include working in confined spaces, at heights, and long shifts (12 hours).
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Preferred: Engineering Diploma/Degree (Mechanical).
- Experience:
- 7-10 years of site management experience, with a proven track record of managing small to medium projects.
- 5 years of turnaround experience in chemical and petroleum industries.
- Experience with hydrocarbon processing industries and specialized technology-based field services is a plus.
