Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper

Position Overview:
My Client a Golf Course and Country Club are seeking a highly experienced Senior Bookkeeper to manage the daily financial operations and record-keeping. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience, strong financial acumen, and proficiency in accounting up to trial balance. This role involves overseeing bank reconciliations, managing accounts receivable and payable, and handling payroll functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily recordkeeping, bank statement reconciliation, and capturing payments
- Overseeing cash-ups, accounts receivable, and payable
- Managing membership billing and payroll functions
- Ensuring compliance with HR, legal, and statutory requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of finance/bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- HR and people management experience
Remuneration:
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
