we provide value to every customer by ensuring high-quality at the lowest price.Role Overview:The Area Manager will be responsible for leading, building and managing the required area by driving a sales culture to deliver on the business objectives.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSales Operations: To ensure that Store Managers and Sales Team Leaders are empowered to meet and exceed sales targets at stores. Together with the Regional Manager, develop and implement new sales strategies. Ensure administrative duties are conducted to drive sales, including markdowns, promotions, and effective merchandising. Keep Store Managers and Sales Team Leaders motivated to maintain optimum staff morale. Implement innovative strategies to reward performers and motivate non-performers. Focus on trends, opportunities, and patterns relating to sales within the industry.People Leadership: Equip Store Managers and Sales Team Leaders to drive sales within the region. Constantly motivate Store Managers and Sales Team Leaders to ensure optimum performance.
Provide business leadership by upskilling Store Managers and Sales Team Leaders in all aspects of operations. Ensure relevant HR functions, including disciplinary hearings, recruitment, training, and development of new staff, are efficiently carried out.Administrative Management: Empower Store Managers and Sales Team Leaders to ensure administrative functions are efficiently carried out. Monitor Store Managers and Sales Team Leaders regarding key controls, rosters, marketing, merchandising, reporting, stock counts, and discipline measures. Create and implement methods to reduce shrinkage within the region. Conduct and submit supervised stock counts.
Monitor submission of weekly hanger counts.Desired Experience & QualificationRequirements and Competencies:Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to continuously motivate.Ability to demonstrate sales coaching and general management of staff.A track record of sound people management skills within the apparel retail sector.Attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, adaptable to meet industrial requirements.Good relationship building skills.Honesty and integrity.3 years managerial experience within the apparel retail sector.Tertiary qualification advantageous.Package & RemunerationBasic offered plus benefits and incentives.Interested?If you are interested in applying for this exciting opportunity and meet all the minimum requirements, then Dyanne invites you to apply.
